CBD crystals are CBD in its purest form. There are almost no impurities left due to purification to more than 98% CBD. In other words, it is ‘pure nature’. Only CBD isolate is a fraction purer and is in powder form, so not suitable for direct sublingual consumption.
How are CBD crystals made?
Any quality CBD is made from industrial hemp that is specially cultivated to contain a minimum amount of tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as THC. This is done because THC is responsible for the psychotropic effects and by reducing it to a bare minimum of less than 0,3%, industrial hemp is completely legal worldwide. And so are of course the products derived from it, like CBD.
The crystals are made with CO2-extraction, a purification process that delivers almost pure cannabidiol with less than 2% impurities. The crystals look a little like icing sugar.
Effects of CBD Crystals
Because CBD crystals are so pure you experience the most direct and strong effect of CBD. CBD or cannabidiol has many health improving properties like antiepileptic, antianxiety, antipsychotic, neuroprotective, vasorelaxant (lower blood pressure), antispasmodic, anti-ischemic, anti-cancer agent, antiemetic, antibacterial agent, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory and even as a means to treat pain including chronic pain, depression, autism and stimulates bone and brain cell growth.
It does not have, contrary to big pharma medication, any negative side effects. It is not addictive and does not get you high. CBD simply said, balances your bodies nervous system by influencing neuroreceptors with the organic equivalent of your body’s natural compounds: endocannabinoids.
This is the reason it does not have any side effects and works positively on so many of your body’s systems.
Crystals for versatile consumption of CBD
Crystals can be used for vaping or can be dissolved in tinctures, e-liquids, smoothies, food, and so on. Like with drops you can get a stronger and quicker effect if you put the crystals under your tongue and let them dissolve there.
Difference between CBD crystals and CBD oil
CBD oil is a mix of hemp seed or coconut oil with concentrated CBD and comes in varying concentrations. CBD crystals are CBD in its purest form (>98%) and don’t have any additives. They also have more versatile ways of consumption.
1. Vaping crystals with the right vaporizer
CBD crystals cannot be used with any vaporizer. In order to use these crystals in a vaporizer, it needs to have a liquid pad or oil container. The crystals need to be mixed with an e-liquid. To dissolve the crystals quickly and evenly, just shake the e-liquid mix.
Vaping with these pure crystals will give you a stronger effect of the many health benefits and you will quickly feel them. Vaping is one of the most popular ways of consuming CBD crystals.
2. CBD oil, do-it-yourself
Instead of buying a ready CBD oil, it is probably cheaper to mix your own oil. Crystals are ideal for this. Use a coconut oil, a hemp seed oil or olive oil to mix your CBD crystals. A standard concentration would be 10% (1000 mg of crystals into 10 ml of oil), but one of the benefits of mixing yourself is that you can create your own concentration and experiment which concentration works best for you.
3. Use CBD crystals for dabbing
CBD crystals can also be used for dabbing, but we do not recommend this for beginners. With the dabbing process, heat from a special device is used. The resulting vapes/smoke are inhaled through the mouth.
4. Baking with CBD crystals
CBD crystals can also be used to add to food. One of the popular ways is baking. The butter that is used for baking is melted and the CBD crystals are added and stirred until they are dissolved and you can bake anything you like with the CBD butter.
CBD crystal dosing
Regardless of the consumption methods you choose, the average recommended a daily dosage of CBD is between 2,5 to 15 mg, depending on the individual and the situation. On the packaging, it should be indicated how much milligrams of CBD the package contains.
If you have CBD crystals with 98% purity it means that you have 98 milligrams for every 100 milligrams of crystal weight. So it is very easy to dose.
Other CBD products
Probably the most commonly used CBD products are CBD oil and CBD vape oil. They are also often called CBD drip and have various consumption methods but are often mixed with food or drinks. There are also stand-alone CBD food products like CBD edibles such as CBD gummies. Because vapers like there flavors there are flavored CBD tinctures and for gourmet vapers that want to add their own flavors there are even tasteless tinctures available.
If you like to take CBD the way old-fashioned medications used to be taken, fine. There are CBD pills on the market which makes it easier to take the right dosage. CBD wax and CBD dabs are used by the younger generations mostly by smoking or vaping.
